Children's play activities

Children can play in different ways and in different places. By playing with your child, you can both benefit from shared play experiences, strengthening the bond between you. Use these easy and inexpensive ideas to encourage your child's imagination and creativity as they play.

 

Making toys from household items:

cloth
material
sheets
blanket
cardboard boxes
old clothes
logs
buckets
baskets
tree
plastic bottles
 

Balloon socks (to prepare:)

cut the plastic bottle in half
cover with a sock
soak in soapy water
blow through the tip of the bottle
Balloons will appear on the toes of the sock.

 

Find the ice!
Fill a basin or large plastic container with water. Throw some toys in that water. Freeze overnight. and in the morning give your kids small kitchen utensils to break the ice/find things in the ice.

 

Painting with water
Give your child a paintbrush and a bucket of water. Paint exterior walls, fences, gates, drain pipes and sidewalks with water.

 

Drawing with chalk
Your child will enjoy chalking sidewalks, driveways, walls, fences, or bricks. They will also watch the rain wash away their writing.

 

A picnic of teddy bears
Kids love to eat outdoors. Spread a picnic blanket or mat in the garden. Place plastic containers and plates for food. Tell your children to bring their favorite toys to the picnic.

 

Getting hands dirty
Fill the container with soil or go to an area in the garden. Place yogurt containers, cars, toy animals, spoons, small stones and twigs. Let your kids use their hands to dig the soil. Add water and make a slurry. Children can make mud cakes.şviq edin.
